Here at Pete Stead DJ we set ourselves exacting standards, we understand that we have been given the ultimate responsibility of ensuring that your event is given the care and consideration that it deserves. We ALWAYS honour our commitments, and pride ourselves on ensuring that your event is remembered for all of the right reasons.

We are experienced at running various different events, which gives us the ability to fill a dance-floor and to adapt the music accordingly, to ensure that your crowd will have an enjoyable and memorable evening. We are both professional and comfortable in using the microphone, and understand that the evening is all about you, and not the DJ's ego!! Any announcements will be made in a manner that compliments, but does not intrude on your evening's enjoyment.

We are passionate about the quality of sound that is produced, and realise that not everyone wants the music so loud, that it can be heard several streets away! We also have a fantastic light show, which will set a wonderful atmosphere for your most important night. You can choose a full-on Night-club package, or alternatively a more low-profile, ever changing wash of colours and subtle subdued lighting, or if you prefer, somewhere in between!

We are equally at home whatever genre of music is your particular choice; from swing and soul to Dance and Indie, from the 50’s and 60’s to the latest chart and pre-release tunes, and every point in between. To enable you to have your own input into the music, we give you access to our online planning system, available 24/7. You can use it to plan your event and involve your guests, turning a "disco" into your own totally bespoke,unique celebration.

SIXTIES, SEVENTIES & EIGHTIES THEMED EVENTS

More and more often we are being asked to provide themed events for Landmark Birthdays, Fundraisers, Anniversary and Retirement Parties. This is something that we love to do! Last year we did a Seventies themed fundraiser in Monmouth, for The Marie Curie Cancer Fund which raised over £2000, this was attended by over 200 "Children of the 70's" many of whom were suitably dressed for the occasion! This year we seem to be specialising in the 80s with events in Hereford and The Forest of Dean which have all been well received!
